Yes cats are necessary.
OK more advice:
Rainy and cold days are kind of boring!! So best to avoid them with global warming <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='
' />
Yeah we get bigger down pours (when they happen) i guess
....as opposed to the good ol' days where it used to just drizzle all day <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='

Well it was freezing this morning! My (kinda unreliable) weather station said 2.5 degrees. But the weather report said 5 degrees.
Yeah, my run today was down a lap (and i ran at 10:00+ am). Felt like running inside an ice block. *shakes fist at cold*
My one line of advice is: get a gym membership during summer.
I was going to join Genesis, they have a month-to-month membership that would be suitable but i'm gonna try a beanie instead. :-)
I wear gloves too, Peter.
well a beanie was good enough for rocky ....
Can't find my beanie ...been misplaced during the move. :-(
Well maybe you can get a Melbourne beanie!! Like a footy one.
Found my beanie in between a pile of papers and books, fancy that ...odd place for a beanie or any item of clothing really.
Squashed beanie? Hard pressed beanie? Beanie studying for beanie exams? <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
OK more advice for all the budding grasshoppers...
Don't eat too much sugar.
Roasted greasshoppers are tasty (i hear!)
Something interesting about a stick of celery:
Quote:Celery is actually loaded with latent energy, but the plant's composition only allows us to metabolize a small amount. The latent energy is packed tightly in the form of cellulose; a complex sugar which humans are unable to metabolize. It's not that the celery is difficult to digest, but rather it provides fewer calories than what is needed to digest it - so the overall effect is "negative calories".
I wonder if there are any other negative calorie foods! that would be a good topic to start.
Yeah well at least if i drink water i can lose weight which is kinda cool! <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='
