I was craving maccas today and we asked the taxi driver if there was a maccas. He said "yes" over there. But it was actually a place called "Dico's" which is sort of like KFC. I did lots of shopping in china lately. I had one bad experience where i bought a "samsung" portable hard drive only to discover when i got home it was fake. But we got it from a market with no receipt so there is little hope of a refund. Anyway, i will be more careful next time! The copy was very eleborate! At least the drive still works. I would like to get small screw driver to pull it apart to see what is inside but that will have to wait until i get back to australia.
The other day I tried to push the limit of bargaining when I tried to buy some nail clippers. The asking price was about 80 cents AUS (4 rmb) and I tried to get them from 1 rmb but they were not impressed with my 75% off offer! So I ended up going to another shop and buying them for 3rmb.
