'Disappointed by our performance': Cory Bernardi to deregister his Conservatives party

Cory Bernardi is closing down his breakaway Australian Conservatives party two years after he defected from the Liberal Party, telling supporters "we are all disappointed by our Party performance at the last election".


The South Australian Senator also said the Liberals' change from Malcolm Turnbull to Scott Morrison meant his party was "no longer valid" but did not say whether he will quit parliament or serve out the remaining three years of his term as an independent.

Can you imagine the fear in the guts of the US Democratic party - left wing contenders for president - when the incumbent has more jobs, motre black jobs and a recovering US economy to point to as his performance indicators.

 

Unless they wake up and select a centre right Democratic nominee the result will be Corbynesque but more extreme

LOL @ recovering US economy. It has the biggest debt in history that will never be repaid which means a growing portion of every dollar of output leaves the country and makes it poorer, less respected and ultimately broke - just like its president did with his own past finances.
