Hey guys! We are going to be allowed to go home early from work today! Woo hoo! Best news ever as I am not really in the working mood!

I will probably go see the fireworks tonight with the family. Unless it gets cancelled due to thunderstorms of course <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
Hey Kara.

You sound great and upbeat!

I did walk this morning. 20 minutes at about 9.00AM to McDs for breakfast and then the 20 minutes back home.

At that time there was a small cool southerly breeze, so it was not too hot yet!

With 41 predicted for tomorrow I think I will give the Gym a miss!

Hey then you already got guys lining up to go out with you!

How good is that.

Check out P22 (I think) Sunday's Herald Sun re dating etc..
I am! though a little disappointed coz my mum was going to be going away for 4 days this week and i was going to have a friend over and now she's not going due to the Code Red fire conditions tomorrow so my plans are stuffed =(

LOL maybe they are! haha
Are you saying that could be a "long" version of 4.5ks?

I guess up hill all the way could be a long version.
Just in comparison with the other runs i usually take during the week that are 6.5 k's and 10 k's however, the last couple of 10 k's have been 6.5 k's with all the holiday hangovers slowing me down. <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

I START MY NEW JOB TODAY *FREAK*

Wish me luck!!!! (Stat at 8am, haven't been given an end time! <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/huh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' /> )

It's about a 1km walk there and back which will add a nice bit of daily exercise into my routine!

I think from next Monday all excuses are off!
Sure did and finished a little flustered. oh and i should have written 5.5 K's instead of 6.5 K's, got my basic math mixed up.

Peter,

Why is weather an issue when at the Gym... isn't yours air conditioned?

Nope, no running today (resistance exercise today)... i'm running again tomorrow, a 5.5 K'er and should be back on my Friday 10 K runs this week... depending on how my legs recover after tomorrow.

...its a pleasant and breezy 23⁰ outside, in Geelong, however; according to the BOM website, Melbourne is still hovering at 33.5⁰, that's quite an impressive difference.

Second day on the new job for Kara. <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />
