well we had a lightening storm this morning. i was speaking to someone who apparently was flying in to melbourne (from sydney) this morning. would you believe her plane got hit by lightening! there was just a loud bang apparently and luckily the plane seemed to be OK! <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' /> how lucky is that! <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

We had a BBQ on Saturday night <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/gathering.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':rainbow:' /> .Before our guests arrived i was getting

everything set up and the <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rundog.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> is going beserk at the BBQ. <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dry.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':Sleepy:' />

I think nothing of it,but he keeps it up.

I know it's clean and free of leftovers,

i lift the lid up and there is a visitor <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':o' />

from the wetlands.A freekin rat,a big one to.

I slam the lid shut,I'm thinking what the <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wow.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':wow' /> .

So i open it up and the dirty rat takes off back to where it came from

with the <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rundog.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':th' /> hot on its backside. The wife sees me through the

kitchen window and asks me what's wrong,

the look on face my was something to behold <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':o' /> .

I tried not to tell her as she is phobic city about mice, rats and spiders.

She thinks it was a little mouse.A quick clean of the BBQ and a stubbie or 12 <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/piwo.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> . <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Big Grin' />

I was in court the other day.As a witness that is,two years ago i was at work and i heard a couple fighting in their car.It turns out he abducted her, held a taser to her neck and threatened to kill her.She stopped the car near me and got out and called for help,he gets out and then she gets back in the car,the window was down an inch or two and he tried to pull it out to get to her.So i yell at him to ******* off and luckily he did as it turned out he was off his head on ice <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/kosa.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Tongue' /> .What a day,i'd hate to be on the wrong side of the law.

You are given a copy of your statement. And believe me it's something i would remember without it.

Fair enough your circumstance was traumatic however, I am just baffled at the expectation placed upon witnesses by the courts to remember mundane to slightly provocative events from years gone past... though I do suppose the statements help jog memories.

Woah! Cool story! You saved her! That's awesome.

My day is going well. It's gonna get better as the sun is shining and I'm going out for a seafood lunch. Woo hoo!

Had a good day sitting in Civil Procedure lectures at Monash all day. They warned us that this subject could be boring but we have a great teacher, and it's not boring at all. <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/officechair.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />
