Wasn't exactly a down poor here either, glen. Every bit of relief counts and today is so pleasantly cool in comparison.
Hello Kara.
Well about the engagement ring!
With some men that is not always the case!
So Kara, how goes the new job?
Good fun?
What do you mean it's not always the case!? Do you mean they never get around to getting married?
Yah it's tiring and very different to what i'm used to ... i guess i'll just have to get used to it.
Hey Kara.
My guess is that your type of work is very tiring, always on your feet.
Check out your shoes maybe get a more comfortable pair.
I had morning coffee in a local caffe this morning where the staff were bright, cheerie and involved with the customers.
My guess is that the time passed quickly for them!
Shoes are comfy actually ... I was on my feet day at my last job too - it's not about that ... it's just taking it out of me coz it's a constant busy state and i am walking to and from work and haven't had a proper night's sleep.... and it's a lot of new information i'm taking in and having to remember which is tiring alone!
Kara.
See what Glen said: "No date set yet".
That's what I mean, no commitment. Just vague promises.
Did you ever see that great musical Guys and Dolls?
Well in it Frankie Sinatra refused to commit to a date with his fiancée.
What happened: The poor woman was always so stressed out that she constantly had a depression cold. Always sniffling and wiping her nose!
Which was only solved when they married. But by then they were too old to have kids!
Yeah your right I just made that bit up!
Hey there was a guy in it called Nicely Nicely, can you believe that?
No offence Glen!
OUCH! I gotta admit i was engaged for 6 years until my (ex) fiance mentioned making a date - we broke up 8 months later! LOL
And so Kara, both have been avoided!
You are back in the race.
A race where one does not need to finish first. (Or second or ........)
Thanks, wise words i think ... but we'll see! haha
So Kara (and anyone).
What are you doing tomorrow? (Sunday).
Going to a brunch group meet thing ... i will only get like less than 6 hours sleep too - my stupid fault for going out with a guy at last minute tonight and only getting back at 2am .... i think i'll go anyways and just nap when i get home! I need to get out and meet people and i missed the last few meets so it'll be good for me.
How about you?

I guess I really should set a date then! When is a good time to get married? Like summer spring etc? I actually have to wait till my brother gets back from a long holiday in argentina so it won't be any time before july I think.

Well that's all matter of personal opinion ... best way is to ask your fiance when she'd like to have it! haha.
I reckon spring is perfect - however it can be unpredictable with weather.
May I suggest that the best time to get married is when you are both still keen on the idea!
Oh, then again maybe not!
