Stupid Question, Stupid Answer
#1
OK just answer the stupid question with an equally stupid answer. And then you can add your own stupid question for the next person.

why is the sky NOT purple?
Reply

um, because once apon a time, on the way to Little Red Riding Hoods house, the Three Bears decided to stop for a picnic,

they couldn't find any porridge, but they did find a rocket ship loaded with Bearberries that was ready for take off, meant to colour the sky <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Tongue' />

you try thinking while you're in a headlock being forced to listen to the Pina Colada song <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

why does being happy make you cry?

That is an easy one. Happy people often end up crying because they are so used to not being happy that they get things mucked up and cry when really they should be smiling, whistling and telling funny jokes. This phenomenon is very similar to when you have been spun around hundreds of times (e.g. by the kids trying to make you dizzy) and then you end up falling over when you stop spinning because you are used to spinning <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Tongue' />

Phew. OK now I have the Pina Colada song in my head!!! Arghhhh HAHAHA

OK next question, and this is definitely not a stupid question:

What did the camel eat to make him/her develop those unsightly bumps/humps???
Reply
#10
easy, the camel was lazy, didn't want to do any work

the man, dog and ox were getting quite peeved

so, when a travelling Djinn came through, they told him

so the Djinn went off to find the camel

they talked, and the Djinn invited the camel to tea

the camel accepted, as long as he didn't have to do or bring anything

so when the Djinn asked the camel one hump or two?

and

who made oranges orange and why?

Oranges are orange because of a special pigment in the orange skin which is called "purple". Now I know this is a bit confusing but purple is actually orange. That is why oranges are orange. Because they contain purple! <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Tongue' /> To answer to other part of your questions, there was a person named yellow...a mrs blue yellow in fact..that made oranges the way they are today. So Mrs Blue Yellow made oranges orange by ensuring they contained purple. Hope that makes good sense.

OK Next....

Q: Man is in God's image, so what good is a male god without a female one?
Reply

A: If you can create anything then I guess you could also create a very kind and considerate female god to hang out with! But if you are really busy building the world you might consider romance only once you reach god retirement age which is about 10,000,000,000,000,000,000 years old <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':th' />

Question: How much is too much?
Reply

Too much is the extra bit that is only waffffer thin! The straw that broke the gnu's back (apparently he had to step in at the last moment because the camel was too busy having sodding tea with some Djinn). Or to put it another way, too much is any amount of something that you would not chose to do of your own free will but are coerced into doing in the name of financial remuneration.

How long is a piece of string who's length is stated as equal to the circumference of a circle with a radius of 2cm? <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Rolleyes' />

It's about as long at the circumference of a milk bottle top.

Why is the sky grey more often in Winter?
Reply

Because it's too cold for the sun to hang around, so he heads for a warmer climate. <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

Am Catholic as well.... Ha ha - and Perry White... I loved Superman, as opposed to soft little Spiderman and no, I never worked for a newspaper. I worked privately. My office consisted of "no cigarettes, no fancy desk, lots of coffee and one sweet little King Charles Cavilier attachment on my lap." I'm not retired like yourself, just in the middle of jobs. I never really liked the editing, it just got me out of trouble whilst I was writing a junior fiction novel, that has turned into a junior/senior/anybody fiction.... Hahaha

Oh my.... Lots of questions. I feel like I am in an interview. With me being a famous writer and all. Um. well, no, I am not a famous writer.

No the manuscript hasn't seen the light of day yet, but I am sending it off to a few publishers this week. Fingers crossed for me.

Felix the Cat I remember very well. And like Duckie, I like cats as well but I am more of a dog fan myself.

I have to admit I don't remember Red Rider. Sorry.

2 Catholics only, um, should we break out in prayer. <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/im Not Worthy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':notworthy:' />
