Stupid Question, Stupid Answer
#41
Um, I hate to have to admit this, but I am not the Queen, so your knighthood might be in vain, sorry. But if I did have the authority. I would surely knight you. <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Rolleyes' />

[Image: dry.gif] [Image: dry.gif] [Image: dry.gif] Picking on me now??? Lucky I am a toughie and don't take well to insults... So I am going to spit the dummy and throw my teddy bear at you. Then I am going to grab my milk bottle and cry myself to sleep, in my favourite pink cot! Hahahaha... Like that would ever happen? <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dance.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dance.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

"Your question!

Um, yes sir, we are good virtual friends. I am so glad we cleared that up.

Ok, stupid question:

Is global warming really the reason for our abnormal weather?

Ok, I, Ms Maggie Moo, knight thee, Mr Peter J; defender of the forum, defender of Preston and Ruler of all of the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne... Wo! That is a big honour sir. You are truly a man in high places.

"Hey no insults! Just the facts ma'am, just the facts. You can't handle the facts ma'am! Well who said that?" Hahaha... I could be wrong, but wasn't the actual line. "You can handle the truth,"? By Jack Nicholson in A Few Good Men. Or am I mixing things up? <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wow.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':wow' />

So my question stumped you ha? Well, I wont ask another, I will wait for your answer tomorrow...

Oh Dear Sir of Preston... You haven't seen Glenroy lately. I have no idea what nationalites exist here... I just can't keep up.

Ha, I disliked Jack Nicholson as well. He always seemed to play himself in movies... Or should I say the same kind of character.

Nurse Ratchet! Gosh! I remember seeing the movie many moons ago, but for the life of me can't remember much of it.

You're right about man and fixing the weather. I believe we are a tying beast but we do make matters worse. <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

Sue City Sioux... Um... is it a song? Er, um, I don't know sorry. Enlighten me. <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Rolleyes' />

Why is the grass always greener on the other side?

Actually Peter, I have to admit I like Merryl Streep.

Don't know the answer to your Jack Nicholson movie "Last Detail" in The last Detail? Enlighten me. <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mellow.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Um, yes, I have noticed that Indian ladies always look hot. Interesting. I wonder what their diet is?

You said.... "Hey grass question. Doh! Everyone knows where the grass is always greener!"

Peter, the grass is always greener in your garden. <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/Kiss.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

6s and 7s! Well, I am with you on that one... I have no idea what it is either.

Ok, so you're running out of beer, join me for a glass of sweet red wine. <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/piwo.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/piwo.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Oh dear Peter... Such a nasty thing to say about poor old Merryl... She does have a slow way of speaking. That doesn't mean she is boring. <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Rolleyes' /> I bet she can shake your tail, feather!<img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/dance.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

You said.... "Well as far as I can tell a "Detail" is a job, a function that has to be done.

Jack N was about to leave or whatever the Army/navy/Military police and he was charged with one "last detail".

It was to escort a young military prisoner from his base to a jail across the country. Naturally this did not run according to plan and that is the essence of the last detail. Capisce Cara?"

Capisce... <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/officechair.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':officechair:' />

You said.... "So what's this about England always foggy. Hey woman you bin awatcha troppo movies with Sherlock Holmes in them.

See good, they see good! A long time ago the Government in a flash of inspiration banned all coal burning fires in all homes.

Job done. So as you say it's an idiot question. You gotta do better, or I'll speak to Glen and h'll speak . . . get it?"
Wah... Wah... You made me cry... Wah......................

6s and 7s... So Sir, did you google it... And... Waiting....

Sorry sir, don't know the song "The Days of Wine and Roses"?

You said... "Hey I just noticed! What is that emotion (in the garden bit) doing Is he sending me a secret kiss or a raspberry blurter?<img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/Whistle.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />"Dimmi Cara il vero Per favor." No sir, I missed the post. Ah well, it happens from time to time. I even tried copying and pasting my own posts just in case I lose my work due to laptop shutting down or something odd like that... But it doesn't allow you to do it.

Nevermind, send a smaller post when you can. <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

Oh no Peter, I didn't explain myself properly. I mean when I am in the middle of posting something, sometimes I accidently hit the wrong key and I lose connection. So I have to log back in. You know our posts. They are often long, but if I click copy every now and then as I have done on other forums... Even if I lose what I was typing I still have some of it and just press paste. Don't know if I am making sense.

Hi again Peter,

Right you are, this thread is about stupid questions... And yours, well, it's pretty stupid...

Everyone knows the road is made out of ice. The only way it can get any higher, is if the sun comes out... And since it is Autumn then you will have to replace your tyres... Hee hee. <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sports.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Confusedports:' />

Hey there Peter,

Let's just see how smart you really are? [Image: Money%20Eyes.gif] Smart... Who's smart? Me, who? Ar, er, me... You, smart... Um, er... Oh you are talking about me. Hahaha

If the fact it is Autumn, and that sends a signal to your pea brain <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/im Not Worthy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':notworthy:' /> that I should change my tires, well smartie answer this:

Do you know where the wheel well is located? Ha that's got you already.

OK is the "thing" there, a "space saver" a Koala Bear or Jack the Ripper! Ha thats double gotcha! You are such a show off...
Alright you got me there. I am going to run away and cry now.... Boooo hooooo.... <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/Cry.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/Cry.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> (whispers... Could do with a hug right now... <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Sad' /> )

Hey there Peter...

Here's the answer!

1. The wheel well is were the car's spare wheel is located.

2. If the spare wheel is half size then you have been duded.

Well that explains it. <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

Come back and stop blubbering, I don't want a shower while I give you a hug! [Image: 0624.gif] [Image: 0614.gif]

Yea, I got my hug... Aww, shucks... <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wub.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

OK I just thought, why is it so? (Hey Moo do you remember Prof Julius Sumner Miller). Do I! Hahaha... He reminded me of a nutty professor... But he had all the answers to everything. Hee hee

Why is it that kid's billy carts are called Billy carts?

Why not Johnny carts or perhaps Mary carts even. Doh!

I don't know, does anyone know
? Um no... And am too lazy to google it... hee hee.

"It's a bright bright sun shiny day" Do you know who sang that?.<img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/im Not Worthy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':notworthy:' /> Jimmy Cliff, I think... But I loved the version by Bob Marley. <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

Hey you are getting better at my stupid questions.

I listen to "Oldies Radio" morning from 7.30AM to 8.00AM and during that time they have:

Answer 5 questions in 60 seconds. Heck I often get 3 and sometimes 4 and rarely 5!
Oh, is that radio station 1278... I think it's easy listening music.

So where is my hug? <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/Hug.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> ok... Move in closer and I shall grant you a big fat giant hug.

And what about big Julius Miller? He was the nutty prof. Dig his way out hair. And his unquenchable wish to educate young people. He cracked me up... I think he did the cadbury commercials in the 80's... I think it was him. <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blink.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Hey you shoulda asked earlier and the walk would have loved your company. Oh true... I'm pretty sure I would have loved the company as well. <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/Batting Eyelashes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':Bat:' />

Hey they were called Tennis shoes for years and Dunlop was the man! Yes, I remember something along the lines of Dunlop...

Err BTW you don't know much about spare wheels eh? No, but I can pull apart the carby... Hee hee...

Gee wizz it's getting harder to find a stupid question that may stump you!<img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/gathering.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':gathering:' /> Don't worry there are some questions that really stump me and I think you just found it!

Darling I had a Toyota Corona for 10 years.... The darn thing was a disaster from the beginning, but I couldn't afford to buy a new car. Anyway I use to flood the Carby, so I would have to pull it apart and hold down the butterfly, whilst someone started the car. (Didn't know I knew how to do that did ya?) Hahaha. I learnt a lot of lessons being stranded. However I have to admit a70 year old gentleman taught me that one. Hee hee.

Is it better to be a man or a woman? I'm sorry sir... I cannot answer that. When I was in my 20's I would have said "man" due to the fact that had more freedom... During the birth of my children I would have said "woman" (what an experience) However now I am not so sure about either. Hahahaha.

Ok... Stupid Question:

Why do animals bath themselves and we need water and soap?

And what about us 70 year old guys! [Image: 0569.gif] What about them?

May I answer my own question?

I think a man has a better/easier life overall. <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ras.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':ras:' />

As for that one great moment of birth then for sure it has to be for a woman. Such a man thing to say. <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ras.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':ras:' />

We had four kids and I never saw any births. Strictly women's business. (I still think so.) I love you wife already... So there!!!!

Your stupid question:

Huh! I don't know about you but I don't need a bath, I use a shower and I don't use any soap!

My beautiful Dermatologist told me: No Soap Peter. <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/LMAO.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':LMAO:' /> Gosh maybe she was kidding? <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/excl.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':excl:' />
No way.... So funny. I use soap on the smelly parts... Hahaha. But I use sorbelene full strength (No Glycerine) It's supposed to be good, for problem skin. <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

<img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/Rose.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':Rose:' /> I have to say a big thank you for all these roses you leave me.... Did I ever tell you that roses are my favourite flower. Ha Mr, Mr!

No way is that true. It's a myth!

Most elderly are slow in body as well as mind.

Most elderly cannot be wise cos they forget what day it is and cannot remember how to tie their shoelaces.

Some even turn on the gas and then forget to light it!

How can you be classed as wise while you dribble down your shirt.
Oh, is that what that stain is on my top... Um, er, who are you? Hm... Um...

Hmmmm, OK how is it that teenagers know everything!

But like the elderly cannot tie up their own shoelaces?
I believe my 15 year old daughter had an answer to that question. She claims that all teenagers are invincible. That must make me "An elderly" Hahaha.

But the real question is why do we have hot cross buns in shops ion February? Um, not really sure, but I know our loca IGA store started selling easter eggs in the 3rd week of January, this year. Ridiculous really!
