This year i have been sick far too often! Just recently i got sick and had reaction to the antibiotics that sent my temperature soring and a rash all over my body. Then for the last 2 - 3 weeks i've come down with the flu and had to be home for an entire week last week ... then i started to get better earlier this week before getting an excruciating pain in my throat .... turns out NOW i have tonsillitis! To make it worse the antibiotics i'm on are making me feel nauseous! SHEESH will this ever end!

My Wednesday beach run was particularly grueling, really cold with a torturous head wind during the stretch home when i'm most tired, and is likely the reason i was sick come Thursday.



I am so not going to miss Melbourne cold weather.

I run along the beach on what is predominantly a dirt track, not on the beach :-) Still better than running on the footpath.

Apparently so, Peter. The receptionist at the agency organizing my immigration is going to connect me with a friend of hers that runs along the beach where i'll be staying and being on the Mediterranean sea suggests beaches of sorts, pristine beaches even.



I'm trying to keep my expectations in check 'cause they are probably not in the least bit realistic, and i'll just take one day at a time so as to not be overwhelmed with difference.

Don't mind me, even though i'm still not 100% i did go for a short run today so should be right as a rain by the weekend but a cancellation means i can go to a bowling party instead so no love lost. :-)
