Well... Maybe, unless somebody else gets one in and it tops yours... But they may have to work extra hard. 'Cause I am pretty impressed. <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

Hi Pierre.

Well I'm working on another Annie adventure.

I got some issues to iron out.
Bonus... Bring it on. <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

I can still use some more inspiration.

You know, get you to have a few wines and run outside to the High St and do a sexy strip.

All the while get someone to video it.

Put it to UTube and become a sensation.

Better still I'll get a TV station to cover it!
Well now aren't you just a naughty lad. I aught smack you down, like there's no tomorrow. Really Peter. I think that's your secret desire, why do you do that? Ha ha.

You need a smack down... But not necessarily from me. Maybe some woman one day will smack you down so hard and then stomp on you with her heels... You won't know what hit you. Me, I'm no so violent. It will have to be another, I'm afraid. Sorry to burst your bubble.

Meh, let me think about it...

Even in poetry I'm not violent. <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

Ok, I can work with that...

Breakfast time and as always Mary sat opposite George.

After 40 years she yearned for more stimulation.

A lone teardrop trickles down her blushed cheek.

George glanced at her in the usual stare.

Hi Pierre.

The lonely breakfast.

Breakfast time and as always Mary sat opposite George.

After 40 years she yearned for more stimulation.

A lone teardrop trickles down her blushed cheek.

George glanced at her in the usual stare.

However nothing awakens his spirit of care.

After 40 years he is no closer to harmony with his wife.

Sadened Mary sipped her tea with trembled hand

She couldn't understand what went wrong.

Is that ok Mooie Maggie?

If not change it to suit your train of thouht
. Nope... All is good, keep it going.

You see I'm like George, I have no idea what's happening in your mind? MInd? What's that? Ha ha.

In fact maybe I am George! Ah but the question is am I Mary? Probably not. I'd never be married for 40 years. Ha ha.

But Mary was still in her closed state of denial.

She could not bring herself to admit that her affair ever happened.

Perhaps her marriage had finally ended she tought.

As a lone teardrop fell into her cup.

Errrr 40 years, these days will be a miracle marriage.

But you can do it!
Haha... I've had friendships last longer than that. Ha ha.

See the advice I gave Duckie in another post today. (The last person who …) I'll check it out.

It all happened innocently enough

The kiss was meant to be a friendly kiss of thanks

Except his braun arms held on tight

And his bright blue eyes beckoned for love.

Ah Mooie can you take it on to another level?

I hope so?
Peter, this is a little out of my league now. I usually write sad, depressing poems and perhaps the odd romantic poem, but the affair kind. Not really my cup of tea sir. Though I did try.

Suddenly, unexpectedly, George rose and lifted Mary to her feet.

Kissed away the tears, led her to the stairs and their bedroom.

Well what do you think Ms. MaggieMoo? It's good sir. I just changed he, to George. If that's ok?

Thanks Peter for joining in with the fun of this poem. You really are a great poet. <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />
