Hello everyone, im new to this forums and new in Mel too <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Tongue' />

Names Pablo, 29yo from Chile, have been in Australia for almost 2 months and in mel for 7 weeks, i work in the airport full time.

If someone is up to go out for a coffe (cont really care the day, as long as i dont have to work) the Mall in the cbd is a perfect place for it (has a train station right there and theres coffes and pubs open the whole week.

If someone wants to go out u can send me an email to pablokillo@hotmail.com, try to ask me with a couple of anticipation, since my works might be during the mornings or in the afternoons <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Big Grin' />

Hi there,

Just bumping this thread... Any chance of more coffee meetups?

I'm 25 and moved to Melbourne from Sydney about 6 months ago. I just got out of a relationship, so I'm looking to make some new friends.

prahran??

is it far from the city?

Nope, you can take the train from Flinders St and you can get off at Prahran station or Windsor Station (Sandringham line) and walk a little.

Prahran station will get you onto Greville St -- Walk towards the shops all the way to the end to dead end into Chapel St.

Windsor station will get you onto the Windsor end of Chapel St. . . also walk towards the shops along Chapel and you'll hit the coffee place in about 5-10 minutes?

Or, we could all meet up somewhere along the Yarra in Southbank. Was just there today to soak up some sun and it looked nice. Not sure if they are open late though so I got to find out.

Hey Fullybooked,

best junk food would have to be a 'Cookie Time Cookie' put it in the microwave for 10 seconds first, Im pretty sure 99% of kiwis agree its second to none! Also Pinky bars..mmmmmm!

In terms of seafood I have always been a big fan of Hapuka (beautiful whtie fish) and paua if you can get your hands on it!

Huka lodge is amazing, I hope you have a fantastic time!!

Hi Everyone

My apologies to those of you who have contacted me and I haven't replied, I've been stupidly busy for the past couple of months and extremely slack at messaging back [Image: Whistle.gif]

So anyways, hope some of you have met up with each other for coffee or drinks..........

If any one is interested in still meeting up let me know as I am also available after work during the week

Haha nope, I think all the meets I was planning fell through like a leaking sieve x.x

Anyway, I'm up for coffee meets, but I normally work nights. My days off varies depending on the week so yeah I reckon that makes it a bit tough to plan. But I'm always game for a last minute spontaneous coffee meet <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

Hiya,

I'm also new to Melbourne and have been here for four weeks, i'm originally from WA and would like to meet some new people over a cup of coffee/tea.

I'm a 32 year old male and living near the CBD.

A group outing sounds like a great idea, we just need to get organised and get some people to commit. <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />
