Coffee Buddy Wanted!!!

I'm relatively new to Melbourne (been here a year) and have found thats its been harder than I thought to meet new people and make friends

I'm a 28 year old female originally from NZ and just looking for someone to have coffee with preferably on weekends as thats when I'm most bored <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

I have been in Melbourne for just over a year and have to agree with you it is very hard to meet new people. I'm from the Sunshine state, 37 yo female and still haven't worked out how I ended up moving so far across the boarder. The only thing that makes the otherwise cold days pleasant is a great cup of coffee.
