I recently posted this on reddit in r/tmbg but I thought I might have more luck reaching other Australians on forum like this. I'm posting this to a few different places and I hope it doesn't come off as spam or anything, I'm just trying to get the word out.
TMBG recently that that they'd like to tour here but are apparently having difficulty finding promoters who are interested.

I was wondering if you guys had any ideas about how to raise awareness and convince promoters that there's an interest in the band?

They Might be Giants are my favourite band of all time and yet I've never had the opportunity to experience them live. If there are other Australian TMBG fans around here I'm sure some of you are in the same boat. Let's make an Australian tour happen somehow!
