Good one. That reminds me there are a couple of galleries in the city too and they are mostly free except for special exhibitions.

Hmm, indoor activities ... i'm partial to the Museum.... but it really depends on my mood - i love going to the NGV sometimes simply because it's FREE! and also love the Old Melbourne Gaol - i'd love to try the ghost tour once. Also i've hear there is this glow in the dark mini golf opening (if it hasnt already) at Docklands - sounds pretty neat!

Gosh you have been busy today!

If you Google "Mini golf docklands" you will get heaps of hits about it.

Indeed - feeling rather lonely and bored today....Really craving some face to face interaction really.

Wow, that place looks pretty awesome - think i'll have to talk my new man into taking me sometime! LOL
Hey Kara, you should be over the moon if you have a new man!

Not bored and lonely!
I know PeterJMelb - But he's an extremely busy guy with his work etc and i haven't been able to see him sinse Friday of last week - it's too long at any point in a relationship but especially at the beginning when you're really overly attached and in love. LOL

Nice to meet you incidentally =)

Nice to meet you as well.

I hope it all works out for you?

Gosh you sound the patient type, and judging by your photo pretty!

Thanks PeterJMelb - me too ... he seems like an absolute keeper - just right for me.

I'm actually quite impatient really - going nuts! But there's not much i can do - he's used to being alone so he doesn't realise how hard a week away from him is for me. I just think he's worth all the waiting though - the times we spend together are special enough to make up for it. =)

Thanks for chatting with me PeterJMelb - say, does anyone use MSN messenger from this place!?

Hey Peter and Kara. Mr Boss Man is here!! hahaha

I personally don't use msn or skype or anything else like that. But I am sure some other members would.

Kara - good on you for being patient! If you get too needy at the start you might scare the guy off!

Peter - Have you ever tried using MSN? You seem to be pretty tech savvy!!!!

See Kara, look how helpful is Glen.

Three cheers for Boss Man Glen!

Glen I'm still waiting for my 500 kisses!

Glen I used MSN a long time ago but I did not like it all that much.

By now it is probably excellent

I used Yahoo Messenger for awhile and it is good for "typing" type chat.

I had issues with it when trying video, so I don't have it loaded presently.

I use Skype a bit and one of my family members who uses Skype tells me that the latest version 4.1 is excellent.

He uses it for conference calls in his business life.

He says he prefers it to setting up phone conferences.

I have Skype 4.1 loaded but I have not yet used it. It looks good at least, so far!

Yah Glen is very helpful and nice indeed! THREE CHEERS! haha

Seems as if I am almost addressing myself.

Anyway it is a long time since my visit of Como House and probably time to go again.

Cara Kara.

Without Glen we would all be a bit more bored than we presently are!

So yeah! 3 Cheers Glen!
LOL we have similar names. Yes Como is a joy... dont forget if you go upstairs to one of the bed rooms you can see on the window something rather naughty that one of the girls scratched on a window I think with a diamond ring. From memory it reads Susan Brown is a bi*ch. It was my favourite thing to see at Como when I was a kid, over fifty years ago!

For those into the arts there is a generally a free exhibition at the Arts centre. Its worth wandering around here as there are often street entertainers.

For older people there is not much to see but in Bourke street you may want to see the site of the most magical place ever, the Tivoli Theatre. Sadly there is an arcade and its rather depressing called the Tivoli Arcade. You will be cheered up again if you wander to Regent theatre which is alive and well and over the road is the grand old lady, the Atheneum.

Of course the gay bars late at night take some beating. Don' t worry Tony Abbot wont be there in budgie smugglers as he finds gay guys threatening. Odd really because having seen a pic of him in budgies I can assure him I would run a mile.

Wonder why straight guys presume we all think they are hot?

Best indoor attraction? How about the old arcades and that laneway (can't remember its name) that runs from one of them to a neighbouring street and is full of cafes.

Try the free exhibition at Centre for Moving Image in Fed Square.
