Sometimes they might be forced to use old software if they bought custom software a long time ago and don't have the money to get the custom software rewritten by a coder. It saves the tax payer money so can't complain really!

Great thread idea Peter!

I find it odd that when one is told you must see a specialist every year for various health issues. its not that simple.

You ring the specialist to make an appointment but they then say you must get a referral from your GP.

So on top of the huge specialist fee you must pay for a GP visit just to get a piece of paper in an envelope.

Oh and also why must one get prescriptions for on going medications?

The chemist has a record but they agree its absurd they must use a prescription.

Crikey in Thailand things are so much better.

I love Thailand. The doctors are brilliant and so are the dentists and incredibly cheap. People even smile at you in the street!

I started one on another site that never took off all about days in a Aussie town and things to see and it had no reaction at all lol. Didn't really work here either.

But the funniest was I am a Titanic amateur historian and just for fun I started a thread on a cooking site about the great ship and believe it not it just kept going and going!

THey even contacted me saying it was one of the best threads they ever had . So its hard to work out what the posters want.
