Thanks again, glen ...being Vegan i was offended by the donut adds. :-)

When crispy creams were just new here in Melbourne my brother in-law bought two trays worth and literally terrorized me with 'em ...i'm proud to say that i didn't falter by giving into what are renowned to be the tastiest treat in the world but damn they smelled good.

Peter ... like i said Krispy Kreme are over rated and WAY over priced ... you pay on average $3 for a SINGLE DONUT. There is no substance to the Krispy Kreme donuts, they practically made entirely of sugar so they just dissolve when they hit your tongue and the experience is all over in a second and you feel ripped off. The only thing they have going for em is the varying flavours which donut king and such do not offer .... give me Donut King donuts any day ... or better yet, hot jam donuts sold from a van on the side of the road!

Speaking of vans that sell stuff on the side of the road, there is this amazing one on Warrandyte Ringwood Rd which belongs to a Strawberry farm ... and they offer all yummy snacky things relating to strawberries. ... they sell stuff with REAL strawberry puree made by them in it like milkshakes, yoghurt, icecream, jam donuts ... they even have fresh choc dipped strawberries!!!!! it's an awesome van!

Apparently they are that good, Peter ...but yeah, like Kara noted, a bit pricey for a donut.

The creme filled one's can be delish, or sickening, depending on your disposition at the time.
