i miss back in the highschool days where your friends wer there everyday and msged them now you live your life and realize you have no friends that you can message and go out with when you want to go out.
need some good female friends to do girly stuff together, movies,lunch,clubbing anything.

Hi Aussiegal just joined today. I have lived in Melbourne for 2 years but just got out of my relationship and realised in all of that time I hadn't tried to meet anyone new aside from him and his friends so I am feeling much the same way. For you or anyone having a look I love reading, watching too many movies, catching live music and just having good intelligent conversation. I'm not so keen on the clubbing and crazy nightlife but I hope this is okay <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='  ' />

Hi there! I moved to Melbourne about 3 months ago... originally from Sydney. I'm 29 (might be older then you guys? Not sure...) but would love to meet new friends! I moved here with my boyfriend, and have only really met his friends (same as you, Sonia!) I'm missing my Sydney friends terribly and have so far found it hard to meet new ppl here. I'm at uni doing a bachelor of social science (counselling) and also do some volunteer work with Wesley Mission. For work, I work from home doing some admin stuff for a medical practice (boring!) I love drinking coffee, movies, being outside, seeing bands... whatever! I'm 29 too and in Melbourne. It seems like we have a lot of the same interests. I'm quite a shy person and am wanting to get out more and meet new people and hopefully make some new friends. I live on my own and have a really busy job and i'd love to meet people to share a drink or coffee with, see a film.. or just sit in the sun and chat.
