Hi, I'm Peter, I'm 22 and live in SE Melb.
I'm looking for people to head to clubs and bars with. Anyone under 30. There's a lot of venues and events (especially events posted on FB) that I want to attend but a lot of my friends aren't into clubbing or are usually busy with other things. Hi Pete, I'm Jim, 23. I also enjoy bar hopping. I just moved to Melbourne from Adelaide. So I'm feel a kind of boring, i enjoy drinking and looking forward to find some chicks. I would like to go to those events.

You're invited to join Peter and Janelle and some of their friends (that's YOU!) for a kind of New Year's continuation celebration at Starbar in South Melbourne, this weekend, January 7th, 2012.
--Where is this Starbar exactly?
Spencer Street becomes Clarendon Street, after crossing the Yarra.
Shortly after Clarendon Street passes under the West Gate Freeway and Princes Hwy, Star Hotel (and Starbar nightclub) can be found on the intersection of Market Street and Clarendon Street.
--What tram goes there?
Tram 112. Departs from corner of Spencer Street and Collins Street, from "tram stop 1". Get off at "stop 127", York Street, and walk back towards the city just one block.
--When does Starbar open and close?
9 pm Saturday to 5 am Sunday morning, and there is a clearway area on the road out the front for Taxi's for if you stay past tram run times.
--Do they charge to get in?
Looks like there is NO door charge.
--Do I get any free drinks?
If we get 10 attendees and create our own guestlist, and those 10 people arrive by 11pm, we can get a $100 drink card, which we would share around the group members of course.
--Okay so how many are coming then?
At the time of this event's creation (late thursday night), we have 5 confirmed attendees. There is still a fair amount of other people yet to be reminded/asked though (but not all of them are on facebook).
--What kind of tunes do they play there?
This week there's a minimum of 7 dj's rolling out Top 40 Dance Hits, House, Electro and R&B from midnight upstairs.
--Saturday isn't convenient, can we make it Friday?
No, because Starbar is not open on Fridays.
In the future we will plan something for a Friday night.
--Is there a backup plan for if we're not having a good time?
There are quite a few other clubs located nearby.
