Essentially, we're looking for some Melbournians who would like to help others to find amazing things to do in your city.
The idea is we set up profile for you, we upload your suggestions and when the app goes live (hopefully late August) you'll
be able to download it and get cracking - or not, it's entirely up to you.
If you don't use it you can just have the warm, fuzzy knowledge that you helped some people find some amazing experiences they might not have known without your suggestion.
If you should want to pursue the app - which we hope you do - the more suggestions you make and the more people who like it, the higher your profile rises in the ranks and you become an expert. Eventually we'd then like to approach the businesses you've garnered so much free publicity for and ask them to make a special offer for you and your followers. The profit the business makes off that offer is then shared with you!
And if you couldn't care less about profit? well it's still a great tool for you to find things to do, see, eat, whatever! and sharing it with your friends means you can easily gather your them for impromptu catch ups!
Win-Win-Win situation much?
