SUNDAY 7TH OCT 2007: RESERVOIR, DAREBIN YMCA COMMUNITY SPORTS STADIUM, 857 PLENTY RD, RESERVOIR

Springvale was on Sunday 31 September

I would expect Box Hill to be on fourth Sunday of the month, as before.

hi michael, is the new computer magazine much the same as the old one? <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' /> most importantly, will you have the same cartoon artist? <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

What a GREAT PITY! There are always some bad eggs who spoil it for the majority of genuine interests. Could the proper authorities (if they do exist) take action against the bad eggs? Let the rest of the world go by!

I will miss these as the swap meets were a great way to spend a couple of hours on a lazy Sunday, pick up a bargain or merely check prices on items that I hoped to get in the future.

Hopefully, the couple who had to close these down will find other ways to make their lives interesting, and rewarding.

PS I Techspace the new Computer Trader magazine?

Hi Chris, Yes I have seen a copy of the Techspace computer newspaper and it is a bit smaller but similar to the old Comtrader newspaper. I saw it on sale in a newsagent for $3 but I used to pick one of for free at certain computer shops. I presume they will have the same distribution locations as the old Comtrader mag.

Hello all, As a small business owner based in Melbourne we have been doing work for Technology Supermarket for many years. Over the years we have come to know Max very well and can only dismiss the allegations about Max and his family. Dealing with Max and his staff has been very professional and we have always found Max & Mathew to be of the highest integrity and business ethics you rarely find these days. I'm very sad to see Max forced to take this action as I know and understand the amount of hard work and sacrifice he, his family and staff have made to make this business successful.

We at QuickSmart wish you well Max, and hope your health improves. Thanks for the chats and your business for many years. You will be missed in the Small Business circle. Good Luck and I hope our paths cross before too long. QSI.

Sounds like the computer markets are going as strong as ever. I went to one about a month ago in Box Hill.
