Country 15yo Turning 16 Wanting To Move To Melbourne.
#1
Hey everyone,

I'm 15 turning 16 next year and I've just had way to much of a hard life in this small country town I'm living in... Just hate the town, the people in it, and just want to move to the City for a change... since I've been in country towns all my life.

So what I'm wondering is... Where could I possiblly go and live In Melbourne with youth allowance and home away allowance? Hostels and all that are out of the question cuz most only accept 18+ And I have full parental permission to leave home... So can someone please guide me in the right direction.

I love Melbourne and I know the city really well.. and just want to move to the great city... I don't want any opinions just answers... So please not any nonsense like... "Your to young and blah blah blah"

Thanks!

sorry mate i have no idea where a person your age gets accommodation. i guess maybe you could get on a lease as a sub-tenant? but i don't really know for sure. you could just have a look at some of real estate websites that advertise sub-leases and then write to them and see if they will accept you as a sub-tenant.

here are some webpages to check out ( i just googled them while doing a search for shared accommodation):
