Pete, If your idea is implemented for future olympic games then please make sure that Anthony Koutifides is involved or else, it should be done in a "shed" in someone's back yard, where men do men things. Only bodies like AK ought to be seen wrestling in an open arena. Times have changed and with the media and satellites we could be forced to watch. <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':fishie:' />
I don't drink alcohol and don't really watch any sports LOL.. but I looove Melbourne. There are still things to do in this city other than pub-hopping and fotty, you know!
COULDN'T AGREE MORE! I am quite Anti-sport myself and RARELY drink either and i think Melbourne is the best city! I just LOVE it here .... Victoria is such a wonderful state ... there's SO MUCH to do and see - Melbourne has much more than other cities i've visited had to offer. Melbourne has a vastly varied night life, excellent range of restaurants, fashion, theatre, music - it's live music scene is partiularly good! Vic also has an extremely large amount of national/state parks and tourist destinations.... the list goes on and on and on ....

Guess if you make up your mind not to like a place it's hard to come back from that. I personally wouldn't wana live anywhere else - Vic has it all & it's beautiful!

Ah good that your are back to posting!

I hope you had plenty of quality time with BF?

Anyway what you wrote about Melb and Vic is spot on.

You could easily get a job with Tourism Victoria!
Thanks! Glad to be back - actually haven't been spending much quality time at all - both been too busy actually - i've been job hunting, just secured a new job which will be a nice change of scenery.

Thanks! I think i'd dig a job like that! If i was more fit and educated i would actually really love being a ranger or something like that - how awesome would THAT be! I love Victoria!
Hi Kara.

Hey good news, so what is your new job? (Oh if you don't want to discuss just ignore the question.)

Hey you are still plenty young, so why not pursue your dream.

Check out the requirements and go for it.

I think you have the first two requirements at least.

1. You are young.

2. You are fit.

3. You are passionate.

4.

I'll let someone else fill in 4,5 and 6.
It's at cafe that a friend of my extended family owns .... i'm really looking forward to it - more hours than where i'm at now and walking distance to my home! WOO!

I said above i am NOT fit - you gotta be REAL fit for that!

Walking to and from work will help your fitness level, now that you're gonna work close to home <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rundog.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':fishie:' />

i'm not sure it'll make much difference as i am already walking to the station every day to catch a bus to work - it won't be much further.... but it'll be good for me all the same =) Thanks Suze!
