did anyone buy Iphone from U.S.?

I am thinking to buy Iphone from Unlockfones in U.S.

their price is $549 and postage..



But I am not sure if i should or not,,,



or



Anyone knows a shop that they can do less then AU$650?

hi wakky, isn't the official release going to be soon?



it might be worth waiting as i think people were having some problems trying to use the existing networks since they were not set optimised for that phone.



i think i read something to that effect at the whirl pool forums.

I went to MYER yesterday and they told me that Official release is going to be for October 2008...

But i guess i should wait for that...

unlocked iphones work fine on aussie networks, just not 3.



If you want one now, may as well just go for it

I bought mine while in France. Cheaper, and its unlocked. I don't know why Australia has to wait so long for the iPhone. Stupid apple people. Don't they know Australians are the coolest hehe
