How hopeless is the PM?

He refuses to let the pollies (you know - all those allegedly self interested folks in Canberra) determine a fundamental moral and cultural question all by themselves.

He wants the rank and file, the citizenry, to determine a deeply divisive issue.

He lacks the courage of BS who has no such qualms.

Anyone know how many anti Marriage reform folks signed their petition?

The nation will always owe Abbott a great deal for terminating the two terms of ALP mismanagement of the country.

For that alone all talk of length of tenure becomes irrelevant and superficial.

Imagine if Kevin had won the election!

Quote:Hey Power!

How many days did you serve as PM?

About the same as Black Jack Johnson or me for that matter.

You must remember Black Jack Johnson?

His left blla was neither fair nor right!
Hi Peter

How many hours do you work a week? Around 75 less than me I reckon.

How much tax do you pay a year? Around $60k less than me I reckon.

How much are you likely to be affected by bad Government? Around 100% less than me I reckon.

I didn't vote for Abbott and as of yesterday I feel my decision has been vindicated, as are my comments Smile

If Kevin had won the election we would have to sit through another 3 years of Liberal supporters defending the behaviour of a hostile senate.

But because Abbott won, they are criticising it instead.

Now we have to sit through another 12 months of their hypocrisy when they defend their party doing the same things the previous govt did; backflips, lies, disfunctionality, changing leaders half term, it's all there...

... the only difference I see is that the Libs have done it in less time than Labor did.

Length of tenure is very relevant. This country does not need another 12 months of destructive Govt.

We are much better off with Turnbull for the rest of the term. Half Term Tony was a hilarious fake.

If Turnbull does good things? Great! If he's stoopid enough to take money off workers then stuff 'im. Smile

Hi Peter.

That chart I posted actually has a Labor PM as the shortest ever serving PM. Am I rubbishing him too?

I don't see why you have a need to ask how many days I served as PM? It has zip to do with anything IMO.

I was too busy doing my own work, and as a worker, I was concerned about the future erosion of rights and conditions because of this rubbish Government - hence my earlier comments Smile

I didn't rubbish TA because he had a short tenure as PM. I rubbished TA because he was the worst PM we've had in more than 40 years and he went from hero to zero in record time. He made the Liberal brand toxic on a national basis.

Apart from not even lasting one term he was partially responsible for 3 Liberal defeats in 3 states against the odds AND a loss of senate support in WA - it takes real incompetence to achieve that feat. Ask the new PM, he agrees.

Tony was only in it for the money anyway; he will now earn $6000 a week for life, or around $1.55m as a lump sum.

Not bad for 2 years of service!

Nah... Tony was worse than Rudd and Gillard and Whitlam. That's why he was dumped.

All his cabinet supporters are now kissing Turnbull's backside for fear of loosing their positions.

Eric Abetz and Joe Hockey should go now. They are just as fake as Phony Tony.

Hate? What hate?

Cut to the chase here lads - you just saw any possibility of an ALP victory at the next election go where it should - down the gurgler.

One ponders on the longevity of EB after that.
