Monument Location Help
#1
Hi all,

I have a picture a of large bronze monument which is in a city park somewhere but I cant find where! It was put in place just after the 1956 Olympics and has to do with the "patriots of Hungary" and the battles they had with Russia at the time.

It is a large eagle or griffin with its wings spread and grasping perhaps an excalibur in its talons. This stands atop and pretty big stone base. I really want to see it when I am in Melbourne in a few weeks time.

I can email the picture to anybody if this will help!

or maybe ask SBS Hungarian Radio:
