Comic Shop Melbourne Australia

Comic Shop Melbourne Australia

Hi everyone, I am trying to compile a list of comic shops in Melbourne. Please let me know if you see any entries in the list that are either closed or have moved etc.

Hopefully we can make this the most update Melbourne comics shop list possible. Please note that some of the stores only sell Manga comics whereas others have a wider range of comics. I will add more details as I get them.

Cheers, Glen

Thanks for this Glen,

I'll have to let my old man know as he's an avid collector, particularly of Judge Dredd! I think he only goes to Minotaur at the moment but he's missing some from his collections and has just been searching for some on line. This will give him another avenue to pursue.

Cheers,

Helen

Hi everyone.

Just letting you know that I am just starting a new zine called "Multiverse", gathering together comics written by anybody in or around Melbourne.

So if you write comics let me know at bradarproductions@hotmail.com because I am taking submissions for the first issue and want to get it published as soon as possible. The comics can be any genre, style, rating, black/white or colour.

All decent submissions will get published and the zine will sell at comic shops around Melbourne. Let me know at that email as soon as possible if your interested at all.

Thanks,

illuminazi.

Hi All,

I'm what you would call a comic book noob. I have never read a comic and would like to begin now. Can you please tell me a couple of your favourite comics and why? I'm thinking of starting with Batman and Spiderman. Let me know.

Well you have come to the right place!!!

i'd start by asking yourself which comic book movie you likes the best? because all the stories come from those small pages of joy...well form me i started in the late 80's as a spotty geek (now just less spotty).

DC( superman.batman, green lantern etc) have just rebooted the entire universe and currently they are up to issue 11 now. Most of it is fairly boring i reckon. But the batman owl saga was great so perhaps start there.

As for Marvel? well I'm enjoying the new hulk.
