Can anyone tell me how long it would take to get to offices in preston and/or footscray from chelsea. not sure if it would be realistic to live in chelsea if working in footscray

The good thing about Chelsea is that there is a train line close by. So getting to Footscray might be OK. 2 trains will be needed. To check the travel time you can have a look at the Metlink website. It looks like travel time will be about 1 and a quarter hours.



As for Preston, again you could catch 2 trains but the travel time would be about 1 and a half hours.



Bare in mind that melbourne trains are generally fairly overcrowded unless you travel at off peak times.
