Melbourne Public Transport Fares

I can't believe how expensive it is to catch public transport now, particularly since I've lost my concession status - $10.10 for a daily zone 1+2 ticket is so steep. I'm finding it hard to think of anything redeemable about the service Connex provides. I take the Sandringham line, we are always delayed at Flinders St. and we've been shafted to Platform 13.

I must agree with you. $10.10 is a lot of money to pay for crap service <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> The best deal is the sunday saver but only when the football is not on. Otherwise it is worse than peak hour on a work day!
