He DID run and still won his seat - Abbott lost!

 

All those disgruntled people came over from NZ to campaign for the Liberal Party to make up for their unexpected loss to Luna Park in NZ. I give them 5 minutes to demand their payment from Rupert Murdoch + penalty rates for the Saturday

 

Now they have nothing better to do so they're going back to NZ to recharge their Trump cards for next year.

 

No one is in the same pollie league as The Abbott Man. He lost his seat. His loss is their gain.

 

His defeat came 2 days after making some rather dumb comments about Bob Hawke RIP.

 

His absence in the parliament is a benefit to all parties, and to the country even more: despite the $300K to be slugged onto the tax payers for his life pension after two tumultuous years as PM.
