I do not by any means condone Terrorism, however a big kudos to the Aussie Terrorists for targeting military assets rather than civilians ones, and an even bigger kudos to the Australian counter terrorist intelligence agents responsible for thwarting the suspected terrorist activities that would have undoubtedly caused a great amount of grief to Australia.
Glen, I could not locate a politics forums... please move for this thread if there is a more appropriate forum.

If these guys were going to use machine guns....well did they find the machine guns? I hope this is not another weapons of mass destruction (where are they?) saga <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

If they thought they could get into defences force bases maybe they also thought they could get there hands on weapons once inside.
There might not be enough Politics talk to justify creating an entire forum dedicated to Politics, maybe rename Politics to Current Affairs, a more general label.
