I am planning a night out with a few friends and would like to start off with a nice bar and then move on to a karaoke bar on a Saturday night.
I am looking for a bar around the top end of bourke st (towards Spring) but have found most to be on the expensive side... Some of my friends are on a budget, so Society, Tuscan Bar and Loop are no go (they would be my preferred otherwise). Lanes edge and Spleen are a little too layed back and Champagne lounge gets a little rowdy on a Saturday night. Any suggestions?
Also, I am struggling for karaoke bars too (not doing to well in my organising am I!). I am looking for a place that has private rooms that is not too expensive (and where drinks arent ridiculously prioced either). K-Box holds a maximum of 20 people per room, and we may have more than 20 people. I have friends that rave about the awesome karaoke bars in melbourne that they go to, but can never remember the names when I actually need them!
Again, any suggestions?
