Hi,
I am organising a hens night and wanted to know if anyone knows of any good karaoke places in Melbourne.
Can be in the CBD or suburbs.
Private room and meal/food included preferable.
MTK :-D

OOPS! What I meant to do was to say that Melbourne Karaoke Lounge in the city is good if you want that "hen's night package" with a meal and so one but I think that a better option is to head to Melbourne Central and have a meal On3 at a place like Groove Train and then head to a private room karaoke place like Party World which is just a few metres down the hall. If that doesn't suit I have also been to Chi Lounge in China town which is a great venue. A little more seedy but good value AND they give you tamborines is KBox Karoake on Latrobe. Have a great night!

I think there is another Karaoke night at the Knox Club.

KBOX is a solid bet for a great hens party. Me and my friends had a great night out at my birthday party. Check their website out http://www.kbox.com.au/home.htm
i think for u! party world in melbourne! u can book a for room which the price is good as u can use up the room money (food and drink included) so partyworld think it good lo
Hi glen,
Partyworld is located in Melbourne Central, on the same level as the Hoyts boxoffice. I went there last weekend with 3 other friends and had a great time! It can be expensive at night but if you go for the afternoon session (Friday to Sunday) it's only $18.80 per person. That's 5 hours (1 pm to 6 pm) of solid karaoke in your own private room. And you can use the $18.80 you've paid to order some food and drinks. Here's their official website:

Hey ling, Thanks for letting us know. That sounds pretty good. Is the food very expensive?
Hi Glen,
Yes, the food and drinks are quite expensive. However, there were four of us and we managed to order four non-alchoholic drinks, a small plate of taiwanese sausages, a small plate of fried fishballs and a medium plate of salt and pepper calamari (the calamari is very delicious!). So it's actually not too bad. Just make sure you had a proper meal before you go.

OK thanks ling! I have been thinking about trying karaoke for a while but never get around to it <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':o' />
