Hey all, thinking of going to the Ice House skating rink at Docklands, wondering if anyone's been there before?

Very well thanks... had a great time in Melbourne on the Weekend, Saturday night pub crawl along the St. Kilda Esplanade for a high school mate i hadn't seen in over a decade with another high school mate i hadn't seen in a couple of years. Great to catch up with old high school mates especially when both are doing exceptionally well.
How's coupled life treating ya?

Still fairly non existent... met a nice girl that night at the crawl but felt a bit awkward asking for her digits since the night was supposed to be about the birthday boy and there were only four of us partying by the party proper... just didn't seem appropriate.
She seemed interested though with comments like "you do alright" in response to my "been a long while since i partied" comment and "you should come out more" at the end of the night.
Bit of a distance though, her living in Melbourne and me in Geelong... still, might be worth arranging another night out when i'm in Melbourne since she is pretty cool and a tough cookie that's in the same industry and runs for fun, a bit of a perfect fit age and all, she is 32.

nawww, bummer .... you should have just given her your number maybe!? You totally should get together for another meet up ... you shouldnt let an hour's drive stop you - my ex lived that far away and i didnt even drive!!!!!! And NO that's not why he's my ex! haha

Nope you shouldn't - not in your case anyway (obviously within reason though) because what if she's the ONE!

I deactivated my Facebook account recently... anyway, we have a mutual friend so making contact is not an issue, opportunity on the other hand is something i'll have to work on.
