"and the like" means "and things like that", as in other types of "I Heart" Tees, John.

I won't be coming after all, on Sunday.
I would love to still go but all of a sudden I'll need to be busy with a few things.

hey Kara I do come across on the interweb as a bit strange, snu, but mum say's i'm a decent person most of the time and would be nice company for a girl and you seem like a girl.
I do have one friend named Jeremy but he's pulled out of saturday we were going to the melbourne show, interested in going? I have a ticket to ride ticket which means that you get in and get $50 of rides as well, it's in a public place so I can't do anything.

Your mum says you're a decent person? Do you live at home John? I am a girl, but what you said sounds a little on the creepy side .... referring to spending time with a girl in the same sentence as your mum said you were a decent person. lol ....BUT i did like the comment about how i seem like a girl ... just as well .... ive been told im rather a tomboy at times, never appreciated my friends saying that either. lol

The main issue is I don't drive so rely on public transport. And it takes nearly one hour to get to the city from where I live, it would be slightly quicker by car. I just hate using public transport in Melbourne.

oh i know your pain ... i dont have a car either and use public transport to get EVERYWHERE! Is Chadstone closer for you?

Oh god, that sucks! Fortunately I can hail a cab and family can drive me nearby but even the cabs take long routes and try and empty my wallet!
Chadstone is closer, as I live near the Narre Warren/Berwick area, although I do go to the city every 2nd Friday for "alternative" therapy.
I used to go to the inner city very often but now I'm avoiding it for whatever reason, I'm not sure.

If it's not too much trouble for you and under attendees I would be happy to make it to Chadstone this Sunday!
I mainly use so-called alternative therapy now. I haven't seen a doctor for several years and have been fine without seeing them. I don't trust doctors, they prescribe far too easily and I hate their drugs, a lot of them are more dangerous than the illicit drugs.

my loss? you seem a little bit vain but I will be there at 1pm, who know's we may become friends or at least tolerate each other, i've met girls before i'm not a total recluse,
re chadstone i would be able to go but don't know cause hate all the crowds there and the layout and the food courts i might see how saturday goes. I think i'll go to chadstone though. getting out might be good for me so yes if it's chadstone on sunday i will go.
