I'm hosting a Melbourne Chat Lunch Meetup and everyone is welcome to attend!



I've done research and found that the following place is ideal.

Please note that this is only a preliminary date and time and may changed to suit people's schedule. Please post here to indicate which date and time best suits you and if a Sunday meetup suits you better. The meetup won't be held sooner than the 27th and may be scheduled for the following weekend if that suits everyone.



I will post my mobile number closer to the event date.

Although Theobroma Chocolate Lounge specializes in chocolate, they also serve sandwiches, pastries, soups, salads, coffee and ice cream.

I probably can't make it this time around but I will see how I go. We have a list a mile long for wedding preparations etc.

I'm a little disappointed that no one has RSVPd yet.



Glen, would Chadstone on a Sunday be less crowded than on a Saturday? Because I'd rather have the lunch on a day that's less crowded.

I hope Kara doesn't mind me taking her idea! I researched all the other places at Chadstone where we could have lunch and the rest are either overpriced or aren't that great.

Well you could always meet there and then go to the food court! <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> My pick for food at chadstone would be sushi sushi but that is not a good place to meet as it is crowded and no tables will be free. The place you picked is a good place to sit and chat and have a coffee etc.



To answer your question about Saturday vs Sunday, I don't think it would make much difference. Maybe sunday would be slightly quieter.

Nearly 2 years now that i've known, but thinking back my early years it makes sense why i behaved so well lol.

I was pretty shy as a kid too. Actually I still am!!!



I have my wedding coming up and have to do a speech. I hate speeches!!! I rather not be the centre of attention.
