Hi Kara and John!

Well big well done!

Glen will be pleased, as far as I know you are the first couple to become engaged via Melb Chat!

OK John, you seem to have the front running for the moment, but my hopes are still high!

I'm not giving up hope just yet, I was Kara's first love remember!

There will always be room for you in our relationship PeterJ, you know that!

I'm happy for your impending nuptuals Glenn BUT

Please don't distract people from the important announcement that I have made from the Puffing Billy.

So back to me and Kara.

It's good news.

Glenn is to blame for this, thank you Glenn.

If you had not created this site I might not of seen her cute visage and posts on here.

I might not have replied to them.

I might not have Privately messaged her with wonderfully witty and flirtatous messages.

I may not have gained a distinct curiousity in meeting her.

I may not have met her.

I may not of fallen for her in record time and swept her off her Australian feet.

THe world is a strange and random place.

Thank you Glenn!!

Well I have not worried too much about making my wedding very "smashing" since it is a lot of work just to organise a "non-smashing wedding!" Though I am a bit lazy!!! So is my fiance!!... so I guess we are a perfect couple! hahaha

I've thought along similar lines about 13 times in regards to wedding plans and laziness.

I think it would be easy just to get everyone to come to my living room and Kara and I sit on the couch whilst watching our favourite shows whilst the guests pile up presents on the floor and we pause our show in time for the vows then simply retreat to the bedroom whilst the guests nervously wait in the living room for the after festivities.

What you all think?

Not sure why you would want to retreat to the bedroom.

Please explain!

To consumate our marriage of course Peter.

Ah now John . . .

As a long married person I advise you to not rush these things.

Take it slow!

Once consummated you are suddenly only half as rich and free as you were the moment before.

That's womens secret method of blinding men to the reality of the dire situation!

And probably there are a couple of other nice chicks still at the party downstairs!
you are merely utilising the power of your brain too: (here we go again!)

scare me about marriage

put me off marriage

make sure I don't do the marriage.

why? why? why exactly?

I know why.

So your talons can unleash on my beloved princess.

talons.

like those of a mercat.

there are nice chicks at the party??

I don't care if it's wall to wall playboy bunnies, they cannot hold a candle to my Kara.

or a torch.

or a lamp.

or they can't use their mobile phone light.

or anything else.

so feel my thoughts PeterJ and experience the mere flubbabilty of motional brain strength.

Glad mr cool change has come, last night was too hot to sleep until I fell asleep later.

Good talk.

Hey John, That was a funny one! Have you considered being comedian? Or maybe write a comedy book!!! You have a good eye for detail. Or comedy in the detail I should say.

Hello John B!

Are you still engaged or perhaps married?

I see Cara Kara has abandoned the site.

What did I say to upset her?
Yes my fine fellow, we are still lawfully engaged and very much together.

She has not abandoned the site, merely has no time to go on here since taking a full time job (and she's recently been promoted to manager!)

This coupled with her duties as my partner having too:

Shine my shoes,

Cook my toast,

Turn on my TV,

Knit my socks

means she is too busy

however

I shall ask her nicely to post again.

I don't post here much as it usually takes 17 days to receive a reply, perhaps you and I can spice it up a bit today and in the next few days as work is slow and boring.
