There is an easier way, Peter
Get a maid.
But they cost money and that is a commodity that has to be spread a bit thin in my house.
So I sit on the left cheek and leg and lean on my left arm while I scrub with the right, then switch over to the other side when the left gets tired.
Not rocket science or anything complicated but damn hard work. ( Not to mention, painful )
It's my own fault for being so fastidious.
I only have 90 sq m of floor and I only scrub once a month,.
For the rest I get by with a bucket and mop, so it is not too terrible.
