Random Sunrise Question

Recently there has been a buzz about people seeing a small sun rise before a larger sun in the southern hemisphere. Additionally many picutres and videos on youtube of suns in mid day that appear to have a small sun just below and to the left of the major sun. "They" say that it is more pronounced the futher south you are so I thought I would check with thos ein Austrailia. Has anyone actually seen this or is it another of the many web hoaxes people like to start up. Thanks.

Thank you Peter, I was assuming it was Jupiter of some sore of atmospheric refraction in the videos but thought I would check anyway. Videos look pretty interesting though nonetheless.
