The H1N1 has been reported to have minor symptoms and is likely a weaker strain of the very common Influenza A virus. The current 700+ confirmed cases of Influenza H1N1 in Victoria is likely to increase rapidly considering that H1N1 is an easily transmitted virus compared to say the H5N1 (an avian strain).
