The Benefits Of Sound Financial Advice - Aloysius - 29-09-2015 Market drops almost $60b in horror day <p style="font-family:Lato, Arial, Helvetica;font-size:1.143em;color:rgb(51,51,51);background-color:rgb(243,243,243);">Updated: 6:20 pm, Tuesday, 29 September 2015 - See more at: http://www.skynews.com.au/news/top-stories/2015/09/29/market-drops-more-than--50b-in-horror-day.html#sthash.wcHpZZHj.dpuf   My adviser recommended getting out of my mining shares last December and moving into bonds and cash.  I reckon that he saved me heaps! The Benefits Of Sound Financial Advice - POWERZONE - 29-09-2015 Some of my shares went up today The Benefits Of Sound Financial Advice - Aloysius - 29-09-2015 That's great PZ!  lucks a fortune! The Benefits Of Sound Financial Advice - POWERZONE - 29-09-2015 Bear etf (obvious result) and KMD (consolidation and target for hostile takeovers.) Bank shares went down but as a day trader I ended up in front overall. The Benefits Of Sound Financial Advice - Aloysius - 30-09-2015 Quote:Bear etf (obvious result) and KMD (consolidation and target for hostile takeovers.)  Have you done OK this year? The Benefits Of Sound Financial Advice - POWERZONE - 30-09-2015 Yes, but only because I didn't start investing locally until after these crashes of late. Prior to that it was mostly US affiliated etf's. I should self manage my super, but it requires a fair bit of non productive compliance so if I went ahead with it I would go with etf's and just leave it at that. The Benefits Of Sound Financial Advice - Aloysius - 30-09-2015 Onya PZ!! The Benefits Of Sound Financial Advice - petersj - 01-10-2015 Thanks folks I need all your tips. My advisor is pretty good but great to read your comments. The Benefits Of Sound Financial Advice - POWERZONE - 01-10-2015 Gee whizz.. I wish I'd bought more Kidman stocks...  ASX:KDR up 27% today :o The Benefits Of Sound Financial Advice - petersj - 02-10-2015 I am about to travel to Holland... for a few months...crikey! Great timing .. oh dear...dollars stuffed The Benefits Of Sound Financial Advice - POWERZONE - 02-12-2015 Very nice The Benefits Of Sound Financial Advice - Aloysius - 03-12-2015 What is it PZ? The Benefits Of Sound Financial Advice - POWERZONE - 03-12-2015 It's a bear ETF versus an ASX200 ETF (the red line) A bear etf is effectively an antithesis of the market. If the market goes down the etf goes up and vice versa. What was good about yesterday is the market was quite volatile and I was able to buy/sell both etf's 6 times in one day for a good net profit despite the market going down slightly. Today will be a good example of how to make money in a falling market (today will fall around 1% at start of trade) I'll post it again this arvo Nefarious edit alert... I bought this thing @ $26.38 yesterday and sold it for $26.86 today... bootyfull lol The Benefits Of Sound Financial Advice - POWERZONE - 03-12-2015  So.... the day started off with a 2.5% gain for the bear etf even though the market had crashed in early trade.  I'll give that a 5 wood :o The Benefits Of Sound Financial Advice - POWERZONE - 15-03-2017 Just for a laugh... the stock code SCU went from .013c two weeks ago to $1.08 this morning meaning if you bought it for $13k you would've made 1 million dollars profit in two weeks.
