Electricity Bill Has A Future! - POWERZONE - 07-05-2015 Thanks Peter. See you Chowsday Electricity Bill Has A Future! - POWERZONE - 12-05-2015 Hi Peter. Sometime in July and hopefully in Xmas. Chowsday â Electricity Bill Has A Future! - POWERZONE - 12-05-2015 A cat? You mean this?  av-8699.jpg (Size: 2.24 KB / Downloads: 51)  I used this in 2008. lol   Electricity Bill Has A Future! - POWERZONE - 12-05-2015 No, just a log fire Peter  And here's a furious nefarious edit:  Budget 2015 > Why are we paying $26 million to store nuclear waste imported from the UK ???  Shouldn't they be paying us ? :o Electricity Bill Has A Future! - POWERZONE - 14-05-2015 We already store nuclear waste ex Lucas Heights. That's more than enough for me  Back on Toosdee :bee: Electricity Bill Has A Future! - Aloysius - 15-05-2015 Bills future continues to dim. Electricity Bill Has A Future! - Aloysius - 18-05-2015 No joke Peter!  The latest pols reveal the dimming and with a backroom of poll driven union hucksters, that spells extremely testing times for Bill.  Personally, Bill is more acceptable than his deputy - and that's his only redeeming feature to me. Electricity Bill Has A Future! - POWERZONE - 19-05-2015 Quote:Bills future continues to dim. Then let's have an early election Electricity Bill Has A Future! - Aloysius - 19-05-2015 Heh Heh Hi PZ - be careful what you wish for!!!!!!! Electricity Bill Has A Future! - POWERZONE - 19-05-2015 I wish for a stronger economy Aloy. That won't happen unless the people are confident enough to spend their dollars.  This so called "lefty" budget is the one we should've had last year. The small business tax breaks and better consumer confidence would've seen the country in a much better position today IMO.  Additionally, addressing the exorbitant cost of child care is far more important than paid maternal leave.  While last year's budget scored a zero for me, this one scores an 8/10 Electricity Bill Has A Future! - POWERZONE - 20-05-2015 That will depend entirely on popularity polls, Peter.  If the opposition parties can gain political mileage from blocking policy, they'll do it.  But this time around I don't think it will happen, negotiations, yes, outright blocking? Probably not. Electricity Bill Has A Future! - Aloysius - 23-05-2015 Quote:I wish for a stronger economy Aloy. That won't happen unless the people are confident enough to spend their dollars.   You wish for a stronger economy - so do I naturally - after 6 years of economic destruction one suspects that more than 2 years will be required to repair - particularly given a recalcitrant Senate.  Happily one can already see signs of returning confidence.  Your score of 8 for a watered down budget flies somewhat in the face of your expressed desire for improving the economy - IMO!!  Nevertheless any moves toward repair is a good thing. Electricity Bill Has A Future! - POWERZONE - 26-05-2015 Quote:Your score of 8 for a watered down budget flies somewhat in the face of your expressed desire for improving the economy - IMO!!How's that possible when the signs of returning confidence you desire has been attributed to this budget? Economic destruction says more about last years' budget than about the previous 6 years IMO Electricity Bill Has A Future! - Aloysius - 26-05-2015 Quote:How's that possible when the signs of returning confidence you desire has been attributed to this budget?   Heh Heh a reducing deficit is worse than an expanding debt - Shirley you jest! Electricity Bill Has A Future! - POWERZONE - 26-05-2015 LOL! Last years' budget was more about expanding debt than this one No Carbon Tax? No Mining tax? PPL anyone? That's $12 billion gone right there. How do you reduce deficit when the economy is weak, terms of trade are down and nominal growth is at a 50 year low? You don't. It's a bit like saying your shop is running sales losses so you stop advertising to save money. It's a recipe for fail bacause it doesn't work like that. Just as you need to expand the business you need to facilitate economic growth. Both sides of politics agree on this, which is why the Coalition are now handing down Labor budgets Electricity Bill Has A Future! - POWERZONE - 27-05-2015 Hence his strategy to change the headlines with his gay marriage bill Seems to be working too. Joe Hockey's best response was to axe the tax on tampons. Either it was a bad moment or there's something he's not telling us Electricity Bill Has A Future! - POWERZONE - 27-05-2015 Shorten's been pushing for gay marriage for at least the last 5 years...  Please continue Electricity Bill Has A Future! - Aloysius - 28-05-2015 Tying ones increasingly diminishing political future to what should not be a political question would appear to be an attempt to divert attention to his perceived lack of good policy - hey he is still tied to ALP policies that were comprehensively rejected at the last election.  When will they ever learn? Electricity Bill Has A Future! - Aloysius - 29-05-2015 She did!  But it's also true that spots can appear differently to different people - voters for instance.  How interesting that the small strategy that Bill has adopted is actually a policy free stance.  Abbotts most effective and loyal opposition comes from inside his own party and cabinet.   Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm maybe we can manage without Bill - in any stance.
