Hi PZ.
In retrospect Julia G did her best, being knifed does not help her nor the country.

Well I have probably the same level of sympathy for Julia as she did for Kevin Rudd when she knifed him.

Very early on she told a naked lie when she announced an asylum seeker agreement with East Timor when no such thing happened - a red flag for me - and then followed by the dreadful Malaysia solution...

And the Carbon Tax backflip created a stillbirth ALP Govt IMO.

There were some good things, but all overshadowed.

Well PZ.
All pollie (leaders or not) promise then fail to deliver for a varity of reasons.
Obstrunist Senate comes to mind.
The idea of the Senate is great, alas ... it all falls apart under pressure.

Well it did stop a lot of bad things... internet filter, 2014 budget etc.

When you think about it - it effectively cost Kevin Rudd and Tony Abbott their jobs :)

Senators should not cost anyone their job!
Senators should stop bad things as you say.
And Senators should make good things better.
Senators are supposed to be the wisemen/women of our society and use their wisdom for all.
Senators should never be herded into group voting.
