Temporary Accommodation Melbourne Australia
I was wondering what people thought was the best type of temporary accomodation for people visiting melbourne with a view to eventually renting a place long term.
This question is often asked by uni students and other people setting up in town. They might take 3-6 weeks to find a place to rent.
Would you go for a caravan park? Backpackers/hostel? Or hotel/motel?
Would appreciate any ideas.
Cheers, Glen

Ha... i might need help with this too as i've solid plans on moving June 7 at the latest.
Share accommodation is probably a good option since long leases might not be required (somebody confirm this statement please) and the places are usually available without notice.

From my experience, share places normally expect you to stay at least 6 months. but i am sure some would agree to 3 months if you brought a big TV! hahaha
