I am the mother of children involved in Steiner education. I would love to hear from other parents interested in Steiner education and am happy to answer any questions.

Footscray City Primary School currently has vacancies in this year's prep class and the upcoming 2010 prep and grade one classes. This may be of interest to parents whose child is currently in mainstream schooling as well. A Steiner prep year is not a prerequisite to enrolling in the Steiner stream and many children successfully transition from mainstream schools. In Footscray City Primary School's Steiner classes children experience a warm and nurturing environment in line with Steiner philosophy. The school-wide parental community is inclusive and welcoming to new families and there are many opportunities to be involved in the school. Our families come from many of Melbourne's suburbs.
