a warning for those who have or are about to install digital foxtel and who dont have a home phone line.
here's my story. 5 months ago i installed digital foxtel and got the platinum package ($97.50 a month ). you get two free box office ( read current ) movies free a month in addition to every channel possible ( except porn
) i told them up front i didn't have a home phone or landline because i have a work mobile who pay for everything. they install it. i watch my two free movies and occasionally order main event items.
suddenly on the 5 month i cant redeem my free movies nor order anything else.....i ring up foxtel and they say, oh, you dont have a landline, we need the set top box to dial back to tell us what you ordered....but i told you. sorry, bad luck, no credits or anything....$97.50 a month? who the ###### are they kidding? I am going to cancel the thing and let them continue to lose money on digital.....

Hi Alissa, Iblis and Abin . . .
One of my grandsons bought a new I phone (I think that's what they are called).
Every time he walks into the house (his family) the wireless modem dies!
If he turns off the I phone the modem revives!
He is with Dodo, not Telstra.
