Festival Hall

This is a Melbourne icon. Top stars including the Beatles played there. For years it was used for wrestling. Not sure if this is still popular here.

Does any one know if Festival Hall is used?

To be honest it's not a great venue though. The location is a bit inconvenient, it looks like a total dump from the outside and it's rather dated inside too. Was originally a boxing/wrestling hall and it shows...

Mrtea I think it was always a pretty grotesque stadium. Judy Garland said it smelt like wrestlers!!
