I'll be in Melbourne in June 2011 for at least 1 year and I'm hoping to meet great people in the city. I live in London at the moment but have decided to turn over a new leaf and experience the Aussie life.

I finally got to Melbourne a week ago and would love to meet new people over coffee, beer or wine (it has to be mentionned as a Frenchman!). I've been walking around the city for the last week and it looks pretty cool, anyone up to join me during the week to hang out? I'm still looking for a job so I have a lot of free time during the week :-)

Hey! How's Ballarat sound to you? I am not a local there but I study in their one of the prestigious University.

They have Soverign Hill if you are interested in Australian Gold Rush, and there is Ballarat Arts Gallery, OR Ghost tours OR just come for a pint and talk
