After school, a group of 5, including mysef, intend to move out of home together. We will all be 18 and attending university or subsequently deferring to work. We wanted to, following the completion of year 12, rent a home in Werribee or surrounding suburbs and were wondering what difficulties we would face in embarking on this endeavour. We are not typical Werribee youths in that, we are not party animals or hoons, but quite the opposite - for example, i am intent on studying biomedicine at Melbourne University with career prospects as a neurosurgeon. In saying that, other than the obvious issue of costs, which we will be able to cover between 5 parties with ease, what difficulties do we face? How difficult will it be to find a real estate agent willing to rent to 5 18 year olds? How can we improve our chances? And what do we need to even be considered as tenants to a house?
