I think there is a good pub down that way but forget exactly where. Was it in lynbrook or something? I have not been as yet.

If you are after asian, indian etc then you probably won't have many options. But i guess if you give it 10 years the situation will improve.

The place you're thinking of could be in Lynbrook.

There was a decent restaurant in Lynbrook that I went to regularly called 'Eating House', the same restaurant currently exists in Rowville. Even though it was decent, it still wasn't as decent as many restaurants closer to the city. Unfortunately they closed down several months ago. Even the Souvlaki Hut in Lynbrook closed down several months ago! Coles owns the shopping complex where all those shops are and it seems that they're charging high rent.

As long as 10 years?! Wow!

I noticed the Souvlaki Hut in Wheelers Hill closed down as well. I never even got to try the food!! They didn't seem to last long.

Burrawong Cafe in the Royal Botanic Gardens has decent food and a great view over the Australian Garden.
