I hold you responsible for this extra cold weather we are experiencing!

You told me I should believe in this new Religion called variously Global Warming or Climate Change. Whichever comes first!

The trouble is I'm freezing at the moment. And I daren't put my heater on cos it will release "Carbon" and make it even colder.

Tell me just what do the High Priests do at this point?

Flannery will have no problem cos all Qantas flights are heated, whilst he writes his next book called "How You Plebs Must Reduce Your "Carbon" Footprint".

What does your mate B Brown do to keep warm? Ask him if he has turned down the thermostat in his voter funded office?

Err tell me true "How do you make sure the electricity at your place in deep inner Fitzroy is from renewables?"

I had an offer from my energy supplier to use only "green" stuff. I told them to stick it well you know where!

They wanted me to pay more for it. When it all comes out of the same bucket. Ha!

HI Peter, I was asked to pay more for power from renewables.



I asked, which power source and was told hydro.



As far as I know, hydro comes from the snowy mountain scheme that was built a long long time ago! Certainly not a new clean source of power.

Well the dams upset the migration of fish and other aquatic animals up and down the river. So they do cause environmental harm.

Yeah that is a good point. Much of tassie's power is hydro and yet they will be slugged with a carbon tax. Or will they? If not, then maybe everyone will decide to move to tassie???
